Keep Increase, Total Positive Cases of Covid-19 in Aceh Has Reached 1,044

Based on data sourced from the Indonesian Ministry of Health and published on the Facebook account of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the number of 1,044 positive cases occurred after the addition of 168 new confirmed positive cases.

Patients Positive For COVID-19 Give Birth in Banda Aceh



Banda Aceh - A patient who tested positive for COVID-19 in Aceh Province reportedly gave birth safely at the Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Banda Aceh City on Thursday.

Deputy Director of Services at Zainoel Abidin Hospital in Banda Aceh, dr. Endang Mutiawati, confirmed the news that the positive woman with COVID-19 gave birth at a local hospital.

"That's right, with the section process (cesarean section, ed). Yes, the patient is positive for COVID-19," said Endang in Banda Aceh.

He explained that the woman had the initials Za, 27 years old, from Nagan Raya Regency. She gave birth by means of cesarean section or caesarean section in the special operating room for COVID-19 patients at Zainoel Abidin Hospital, Banda Aceh.

He said patient Za was admitted to Zainoel Abdidin Hospital in Banda Aceh on Wednesday (13/8), who was admitted to the hospital positive for COVID-19, and it was time to give birth.

"Alhamdulillah, a baby was born to a positive mother for COVID-19 today, at around 13.30 WIB. The mother and baby are healthy," he said.

He also stated that even though his mother's condition was positive for COVID-19, she would not transmit the corona virus to her baby.

"There is no journal that states transmission vertically, it is possible that the baby is not infected," he said.

Six Lhokseumawe Residents Confirmed Covid-19 Are Healed



LHOKSEUMAWE - The Lhokseumawe Covid-19 Handling Task Force Team, on Thursday (13/8/2020) afternoon, re-released the number of People Under Monitoring (ODP), as well as those confirmed by Covid-19.

Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Task Force for the City of Lhokseumawe, dr Said Alam Zulfikar, said that for ODP, in Lhokseumawe City, today there are still 61 people, the same as the day before. However, 47 of them have finished the monitoring process.

"Only 14 people are still in the monitoring process," said Dr. Said.
